Intensitea is a conceptual brand of teas based on the famed director Alfred Hitchcock. The packaging is all black and white and pulls references from Film Noire, German Expressionism, Bauhaus design, and the works of Saul Bass. The set features tea boxes with an acetate sleeve that creates an animated moiré effect when removed, and reveals hidden silhouettes underneath. The idea is to speak to Hitchcock’s captivation and manipulation of his audiences, and the grand reveal of the presented mystery. This homage seeks to speak to casual and avid Hitchcock fans who have an enjoyment of tea, and each flavor can act as a collector piece of a continuing set.
